"I suffer from swollen ankles and the Velcro fastenings are vital for me that's why i bought 2 pairs so one pair would fit by splitting the sizes 8 and 9 to fit this is what you have to do with my condition but because the price is good value its not too expensive to do this whether or not the reason you buy they are comfortable and a nice men's colour and good value at £7.00 per pair ideal for loafing around cheers Davey"
